We have been retained by a high growth firm in Palo Alto, CA - looking to appoint a new Human Resources Generalist.

Primary Purpose and Function:

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist, who will leverage their past experience to manage HR operations, assist in the design of company processes and procedures, and support leadership in the recruitment and onboarding of top talent. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of all HR programs and duties, and will execute seamless implementation of all policies. This role requires a high level of knowledge and drive and is best suited for an HR expert with a desire to grow with a world-class team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Administer Human Resource programs including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, 401k, workers compensation, and leaves; disciplinary matters; performance management, training and development

  • Create and maintain job descriptions across all departments

  • Oversee all stages of the hiring process from recruitment to onboarding, while working with managers to define strategic staffing plans

  • Manage various internal systems; applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), employee record keeping, and retention programs

  • Maintain highly confidential information with the utmost discretion and diplomacy

  • Assist all leadership in the implementation and maintenance of company policies and procedures

  • Execute all duties required of the Human Resources department

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience

  • Extensive knowledge of HR regulations, laws, industry trends, practices, and procedures

  • Human Resources management software experience; ADP systems preferred

  • 2 - 3 years of HRIS (including implementation) experience with an enterprise or web-based system

  • Experience in transitioning from a PEO to in-house HR full-service program

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; efficient, organized, with a distinguished understanding of business
