A leading international law firm is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator for their Palo Alto or San Francisco office. This position will support hiring at various levels across the organization, special projects assigned by partners and recruiting managers, and work directly with practicing attorneys, university leaders, and future legal associates. The Recruiting Coordinator should manage workflows with meticulous detail and be a natural conversationalist. Candidate and university outreach are major components of this role, so a high level of customer service and passion for recruitment is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate HR, managerial, financial, and event planning elements of the Summer Associate program
Provide support to local lawyers through human resources procedures
Maintain recruiting database and utilize its primary functions; applicant tracking, generate outreach templates and recruitment assets, and statistical reporting
Manage on-campus recruiting events for law students at participating colleges
Serve as the main point of contact for all law school recruitment follow up interviews and offers
Collaborate with local hiring partners and employment committees to coordinate follow up with 1L and 2L candidates
Communicate with lawyers, staff, colleagues, vendors, partner universities, law students, and potential lateral attorney hires on a daily or frequent basis
Handle highly confidential information discretely and professionally
Perform all ad hoc projects requested by partners and recruitment leadership
Qualifications:
2+ years of legal recruiting experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Knowledge of HR onboarding/off-boarding
Legal terminology and industry awareness
Ability to communicate effectively and with poise
Occasional travel, evenings, and weekends as needed
Potential for hybrid schedule
Proof of vaccination
