Our client, a leading internet service provider in the Bay Area is looking for an Accounting Clerk.This role will be handling various accounting tasks and reports to support all financial functions. A great candidate is someone who has had experience with AR/AP tasks and a self-starter with the ability to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer payments, invoicing, and the processing of monthly statements
Prepare monthly reports for internal and external parties
Process Accounts Payable functions – including entering vendor invoices, managing purchase orders, preparing, and processing weekly ACH/check runs
Collect daily mail from PO Box and distribute as appropriate
File documents physically and electronically
Prepare bank deposits and record customer payments
Compile credit card statements and managing submission of receipts by employees
Assist with payroll processing
Qualifications:
+1 year of experience in the same field
Great at time-management and initiative
Proficient with Microsoft Business Applications - Word, Excel and Gsuite
Experience with Quickbooks and Acumatica is a plus
Ability to work remotely
