Executive Assistant to CEO - Start-Up

Our Cloud Database client is seeking an EA to support their CEO as they enter a period of high growth. You will build bridges between teams and help streamline overall operations for this growing company, enabling the executive to expand his bandwidth. The use of independent judgment and ability to communicate across all levels will be key when it comes to handling business matters on behalf of the CEO. Responsibilities & Duties

  • Proactively manage, assess, and predict needs for projects

  • Correspond professionally with internal and external stakeholders

  • Heavy calendar management for the CEO

  • Meeting arrangements, preparation, and rescheduling

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company culture, business goals, and the priorities/challenges of the Executive

  • Ability to resolve technical issues the CEO may be experiencing (cell, computer, office equipment, etc.)

  • Interact with the board and investors

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for public engagements

  • Support People and HR operations on behalf of the CEO

  • Domestic & International travel arrangement

  • Provide end-to-end support for the CEO relieving them of administrative details and workflows

  • Research various topics as assigned with rigor and make recommendations based on findings

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed, including the organization of Executive Team meetings, board meetings, and employee appreciation events



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 4+ years previous experience as an Executive Assistant, with 2+ years in a role directly supporting C-Suite executives in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized and able to independently manage multiple projects at one time

  • Experience working cross-functionally in an organization
