HR Generalist - Family Office

We have been retained by a high-growth single family office in Menlo Park that is looking to for a Human Resources Generalist to oversee HR functions for a new division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional looking to find a long-term role with a world-class team offering plenty of opportunities to expand and learn. You will assist in the design of company processes and procedures and support leadership in the recruitment and onboarding of top talent. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of all Human Resources programs and duties and will execute seamless implementation of all policies. This role requires a high level of knowledge and drive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Human Resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, 401k, workers compensation, and leaves; disciplinary matters; performance management, training and development

  • Create and maintain job descriptions across all departments

  • Oversee all stages of the hiring process from recruitment to onboarding, while working with managers to define strategic staffing plans

  • Manage various internal systems; applicant tracking system, employee record-keeping, and retention programs

  • Maintain highly confidential information with the utmost discretion and diplomacy

  • Assist all leadership in the implementation and maintenance of company policies and procedures

  • Execute all duties required of the Human Resources department

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience

  • 2-3 years of HRIS (including implementation) experience with an enterprise or web-based system

  • Extensive knowledge of Human Resources regulations, laws, industry trends, practices, and procedures

  • Human Resources management software experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; efficient, organized, with a distinguished understanding of business
